Beautiful Ms. E!

I have known Ms. E since she was 6 years old.....now she is budding into a beautiful 15 year old young lady. She had recently gotten her braces taken off, so a photoshoot was a must! Take a look at a few of her portraits from her photoshoot at the park!

Feeling Inspired!

I do believe we all have a talent in life, whether it be a physical, or a psychological one. Tonight I have been completely inspired, not by just my life itself but the people in it. I have been blessed tremdously and feel I have been given a path to discover my true talents. I'd have to say photography has seemed to fall right in place with my life, the camera just melts like butter in my hands and I can not stop smiling during my shoots. Being a great mother, and a wife is the biggest goal of mine, and well with photography along the way is just a blessing. I just need to take a moment to thank my father above for everything he has provided for me and what he still has in store for me. He has given me a life full of happiness and joy, and for that I am inspired each and every day. Thank you for your interest in my work, and I strive to learn and become a great photographer!

My Beautiful Daughter!!

So my husband and I have decided to ring spring in early and do some of Alyssa's spring photos. She usually doesn't tolerate me taking too many photos of her, so I usually have to work fast :) But she is just so gorgeous and makes my husband and I absolutely so proud :) Definitely our little princess!

I had the pleasure to do a photoshoot for a close old friend of mine. Baby C was just over a week old and he shared some lovable time with his cousin Miss C! They both were a joy to photograph! Baby C was unbelievably quiet and wide awake the whole time, while Miss C took some time to warm up! But thats ok, she is absolutely adorable!!

Baby A!!

What a handsome little guy Baby A is! I had the chance to have a photoshoot with this sweet 2 week old. Baby A stayed awake most of the time and was an absolute angel. February 16th- My Nephews!!

I was finally able to snag my two nephews up for a quick photoshoot when they came to visit. I love every second I get to spend with them and they are true angels. Caleb is starting to laugh and coo more and more, it just melts my heart. Zacari is starting to talk more and more also, and now I'm just wondering can we slow down the process of our kids growing up so fast? LOL...

February 8th- Winter Wonderland Inspiration!

So with all the snow lately its been inspiring me to take a few photos of the wonderful views I have from my home. I absolutely live in a breathtaking area with gorgeous views! Of course snow in itself is sooo pretty:) Just not fun to deal with! Also a photo of a mountain side I captured while driving down the road....loved it!

Well I have been quite busy lately, but I FINALLY got my studio equipment in! I LOVE it! My daughter let me take about 5 mins of photos of her! It worked...lol. I've been taken lots of pics lately and wanted to update with a few!

January 21st

Yesterday I was feeling so yucky...very squeezy! Could it be baby #2 on its way??? I got to have a little time off with Alyssa and got some fun shots of her at the park. The sun was bright though....but she's such a doll! I'm getting more and more interests from people to do their photos. I really believe in my ability to take great photos.

January 19th!

Happy birthday to me :) I'm so excited I get to order my studio backdrop equipment this week as a present!! I have been very busy lately helping my husband work on the bottom half of our house, in which I will will turning a section into my studio. But I've been taking photos every chance I get...I had a chance this past weekend to take photos of my adorable nephew Izayah. He was a perfect little model, he didn't move an inch the whole time!!

Seems like I've been on the computer all day. I had a great photoshoot today with a close family friend..I had so many good shots. Making it short and sweet tonight

January 8th

Today I got the chance to do a photoshoot for a friend down the street. She has two precious little boys. Van is 3 and Brett is 13 months. Van wanted to play during the shoot and well as soon as you sit Brett down he's right back up. LOL...Made for some good learning experience! They are just sooo darn cute, and even though the shoot itself was all over the place of course they made some good photos!

January 7th

So I really need to get better at posting everyday....I've been taking pictures everyday but never have time to post and update. But yesterday (the 7th) I went to the store on lunch break and got a big piece of plexiglass....then headed over to Joann's for tulle so I can make Aly a tutu. Of course when I got home I just had to try the plexiglass out. Still gotta make that tutu though!

January 3rd

I had the chance on Sunday to take photos of my 1 1/2 month old nephew. He was absolutely precious and wide eyed for the camera. I thought I'd be able to catch him snoozing but nope. Got most of the shots done during the football game...which really wasn't ideal seeing that my 2 yr old daughter wanted to be front and center and I had no help from my husband...but hey, at least the Ravens are in the playoffs!!!! YAY! He is a wonderful snapshot I got my my nephew and many more!

January 2...The joy of having a little girl!

So it's been a few days and I've taken photos everyday but have had no time to post. Once I get home from my full time job I barely have enough time to eat dinner, edit a few photos and spend a little time with my family before bed. Its those times I have off and get to spend all day with my little girl and husband that I love! Having a girl is so much fun, inspiring to be the best woman I can be to set forth a good role model for her. When it comes to my camera shooting pictures of her, I can't stop....I could take her pictures all day!

365 Day Project~ 1st Day!

So today marks the first day of the new year and I'm completely excited about my new journey in photography. I'm joining many ladies in a 365 day project...in which I will make a note to photograph a new and hopefully improved photo everyday. I had the chance to have a photoshoot with my niece, Kyra today. It was absolutely freezing out, but she was a trooper and did a fantastic job! I learned more about my camera today, in finding a "correct" exposure through my viewfinder by correcting the SS to match the aperture I was using. This one was one of my favorites!
